Texas Department of Public Safety officials say the truck was traveling west at a high rate of speed when it left Texas 71 for an unknown reason. The vehicle then crashed through a wooden fence, struck some rocks, rolled and burst into flames. Travis County STAR Flight transported the driver, a Kingsland man, to University Medical Center Brackenride-Seton in Austin.
