Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Director Robert Moss told commissioners the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department denied the city a $50,000 grant during the board’s regular meeting June 3.

Emergency crews work an accident involving at least two vehicles at the intersection of CR 401 and Texas 71 just before 9 a.m. May 31. Marble Falls Area EMS crews transported one person to Lakeway Regional Medical Center. The Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department, the Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department, Burnet County sheriff’s deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the accident.
