Mustangs test themselves in scrimmage

Marble Falls senior defensive lineman Chance Armstrong (left) doesn’t let quarterback Brennen Wooten escape the pocket during the Mustangs intrasquad scrimmage Aug. 17 at Mustang Stadium. The scrimmage pitted the top offensive players against the top defensive players and mixed in reserves and junior varsity athletes during the 90-minute event. Senior Carson Bowen scored a touchdown in the overtime scenarios toward the end of practice, while sophomore defensive back Eric Cauble caught an interception in the end zone.
