BURNET — Meet Paul Hicks. He moved a lot when he was very young. And now he works for an organization whose employees and volunteers also take to the road.

GOLDTHWAITE — The Burnet High School girls basketball team earned a 48-39 road win against Goldthwaite on Nov. 25, right before Thanksgiving.

BURNET — What started as a few hanging sheets around Christmas in 1992 has grown into “the” Christmas event and continues to draw thousands of people from across the country.

WACO — The Burnet High School football team got the stop it needed and then picked up the biggest first down of the game to take a 38-35 victory over Waco Robinson in the Class 4A Division I regional quarterfinals Nov. 28.
