Local football, volleyball players named to all-district teams

LLANO — Seven Llano High School football players were named to the All-District 13-4A Division II team for the 2014 season.

Players include:

FIRST TEAM: running back Lance Reven, special teamer Trevor Penny

SECOND TEAM: offensive lineman Colton Center, linebacker Wyatt Bauman, defensive back Cody Miller

HONORABLE MENTION: Steton Watson and Austin Miller

FAITH ACADEMY FOOTBALL

MARBLE FALLS — Several members of the Faith Academy of Marble Falls football team were chosen to the all-Division III District 2 teams for the 2014 season.

Flames head coach Russ Roberts said he was pleased district coaches recognized the play of his athletes.

“They appreciated it,” he said. “I was thankful.”

FIRST TEAM: linebacker Jonathan Bryer

SECOND TEAM: receivers Rich Coleman and Rawley Jackson

HONORABLE MENTION: quarterback Magnum Burcham, running back Jonathan Bryer, defensive lineman Tristian Wilson, linebacker Daniel Penner, defensive back Coleman
