BURNET — When Kody Wilson led the Heroes on the Water program at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, he witnessed the benefits of putting fishing poles in the hands of service members.

BURNET — Since the 1880s, the Badger building has played an important role as the business and social epicenter on the courthouse square.

“The building reflects history. It has been as central location for a lot of activities in the community,”  said Carole Goble, a member of the Burnet County Historical Commission and curator of the Fort Croghan Museum. According to the Marble Falls Police Department, Seguin police found 80-year-old Anna McCoy of Marble Falls about 1 a.m. Oct. 4 on Interstate 10. Police say she is well and back with her family. McCoy was reported missing by her family Oct. 2.
