Burnet distance swimmer signs with Oakland University in Michigan

JENNIFER FIERRO • PICAYUNE STAFF BURNET —Burnet High School senior Seth Timmons is used to the stamina it takes to swim  long distances. He rises almost every day at 4:30 a.m. for swim practice with Nitro Swimming, a select team, and attends afternoon practices for the high school’s Water Dogs team. (more…)

SPECIAL TO THE PICAYUNE COLLEGE STATION — The Marble Falls Special Olympics team recently competed in the state aquatics meet at Texas A&M University. The team picked up 10 first places.
