AUSTIN — Burnet High School senior swimmer Seth Timmons made his final year with the Water Dogs unforgettable.

At the Swimming and Diving State Meet on Feb. 22, Timmons earned a bronze medal in the 500-meter freestyle by posting a time of four minutes 33.23 seconds, which broke his own team record for the second time this season.

He was a tenth of second from another bronze in the 200-meter freestyle. Instead, his 1:41.56 was the fourth-best time in the event but set another team record for the third time this year.

“I am so proud of his achievements this year,” coach Nancy Moore said.
