Burnet swim team finishes in top 10 at TISCA Invitational

BURNET — The Burnet High School Water Dogs swim team earned 320 points to finish ninth at the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association Invitational on Nov. 8-9.
“I am very proud of the entire team,” head coach Nancy Moore said.
The meet drew 13 teams from across Texas that competed in 24 events at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes at Galloway-Hammond.
Burnet senior distance swimmer Seth Timmons broke the pool record and set a new personal best for the 200-yard freestyle in one minute 43.30 seconds.
