BURNET — Danisa Scott says there’s more to the Miss Burnet Bluebonnet Scholarship Pageant than money for college.

While the scholarships are big incentives, the pageant director said the winner also represents the Burnet Chamber of Commerce at area events throughout the year. And Miss Burnet and her court can take it upon themselves to represent the community in other ways, such as visiting sick children and attending events not sponsored by the chamber.
