BUCHANAN DAM — When organizers last year promoted on KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune the first free health fair at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church, one woman was definitely listening.

BURNET — The spring round of elections are May 9 for several cities and school districts around the Highland Lakes. Polls in Burnet and Llano counties are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. The last day of early voting is May 5.
