MARBLE FALLS —  Police are investigating a case involving an allegation of continued child sex abuse over several years.

Gary Lynn Lovett, 52, of Marble Falls is in the Burnet County Jail charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child. Bond information is pending.

MARBLE FALLS — As LakeFest enters its 19th year this weekend, the annual drag boat races have added a new sponsor that could bring more competitors roaring across Lake Marble Falls, officials are hoping.

MARBLE FALLS — A budget shortfall could force the Marble Falls High School Daycare Center to close by year’s end, but only if a nonprofit agency can come to the rescue of affected students and their children.
