The Bluebonnet Belle, a 1944 C-47 Douglas Skytrain, crashed during takeoff July 21 at the Burnet Municipal Airport. While the Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force, which housed and cared for the plane, knows it was a big loss, members are currently focused on the upcoming Bluebonnet AirSho, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9. Burnet, YMCA moving closer to recreation center agreement
