Burnet, Llano counties reporting strong early-voting turnout
HIGHLAND LAKES — Interest in the presidential election seems to be pushing more residents to cast early votes than in years past, elections and party officials in Burnet and Llano counties said.
Burnet County Democratic Party chairman Guy Stuart said he believes this election will continue to draw people to the polls Tuesday.
“I think the turnout will continue to be strong,” he said. “I think we have so many first-time voters taking part in this election.”
