MARBLE FALLS — Legendary guitarist Monte Montgomery makes his return to the Uptown Marble Theater Saturday, kicking off the first of a series of holiday-themed shows at the venue, 218 Main St.

KILLEEN — Picking up steam with each quarter, the Burnet High School junior varsity girls basketball team rolled past Killeen High School, 48-43, on a Nov. 18 road trip.
BURNET — The Burnet Middle School eighth-girls girls B basketball team recently won its first district game of the season after losing three straight in an eighth-grade A tournament.
