Burnet is mapping out the future of its transportation needs and the community will have a chance to voice their input during an upcoming public meeting.

The second Burnet Transportation Master Plan public meeting will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Oct.1 at Burnet City Hall, 301 E. Jackson Street.

Residents are encouraged to stop by at any time throughout the come-and-go meeting to review the drafted transportation plan, provide feedback, and suggest new ideas.

The meeting will specifically address the city’s drafted thoroughfare and sidewalk plans, priority sidewalk projects, and recommended transportation improvements.

Feedback will be used to help craft the finalized Transportation Master Plan, which will guide the city’s future roadway, sidewalk, trail, and traffic endeavors.

This is the second public meeting regarding the transportation plan, following the first held last October.
