Highland Lakes Track Club hosting meet
MARBLE FALLS — The Highland Lakes Track Club will host the South Texas Association Meet, which is part of United States Track and Field, on Nov. 5.
The meet starts at 8 a.m. at the Marble Falls High School cross-country practice course. The starting line is at the practice fields located near Mustang Stadium. Fans should drive on Manzano Mile from RR 1431 East and go to the visitor’s parking lot to enter the practice fields.
“An association meet is like a district meet,” coach Steve McCannon said. “It’s a smaller meet. The top 20 from each race will advance to the regional meet.”
Twelve races will be conducted for boys and girls ages 6-18.
