Marble Falls boys 6th, girls 8th at Chaparral Invitational

DEL VALLE — Despite not having one of their top runners, the Lady Mustangs still finished eighth out of 16 teams Oct. 12. Meanwhile, the boys’ sixth-place finish came against 18 other teams.

The highest Mustang finisher was junior Jordan Wright.

Bulldogs 5th, Lady Dawgs 4th at Battlin’ Badger Invitational

LAMPASAS — Burnet High School runners got a preview of the District 8-3A Meet while competing in the Battlin’ Badger Invitational on Oct. 11.

The boys division had eight teams, while the girls drew seven. The top 15 runners in each division earned medals.
