ROUND ROCK — The Mustangs’ 139 points put them in the top three at the Round Rock McNeil Invitational at Old Settlers Park, site of the state cross-country meet, Oct. 6. The Lady Mustangs didn’t compete as a team because they didn’t have a fifth runner. It also was the first time the girls ran 3.2 miles, which is the new distance for Class 4A this season.
