FREDERICKSBURG — A new school record, two individual gold medals and a first-place finish for one team highlighted the 49th annual Carlin Wicker Relays for the Marble Falls High School track and field teams March 3.

The junior varsity boys team captured first place in the team standings, edging runner-up Burnet by 15 points.

Mustangs head coach Kyle Futrell said the junior varsity had more depth, which helped in getting more points.
