United States Track and Field Association Meet

MARBLE FALLS — Thirty-six Highland Lakes Track and Field Club athletes competed in the association cross-country meet of United States Track and Field Nov. 5.

Sophie McCannon (ages 13-14) posted a new personal best with a time of 17 minutes, 46.96 seconds. Casey Wolleat (ages 13-14) also posted a new personal best thanks to finishing in 14:44.65. Katelyn Corley (ages 17-18) also ran a new career best in 22:15.13.

The next event is the Region 12 Meet on Nov. 19 at the Marble Falls High School cross-country practice course located near the practice fields of the campus. Attendees should park in the visitor’s parking lot of Mustang Stadium. Take Manzano Mile off RR 1431.
