Burnet County rescinds burn ban; Llano County temporarily lifts ban

Burnet County has lifted its burn ban and Llano County has temporarily lifted its burn ban effective the afternoon of Thursday, April 2.
- Burnet County’s burn ban was lifted by order of County Judge Bryan Wilson as of 2 p.m. on Thursday. The ban had been in place since Feb. 10.
- Llano County’s burn ban was temporarily lifted by County Judge Rob Hardy at noon on Thursday and will go back into effect at noon on Sunday, April 5.
The ban lifts came after both counties received varying amounts of rain on Thursday, ranging from .69 inches to 1.53 inches depending on the location according to the Lower Colorado River Authority Hydromet.
