Teen Highland Lakes tennis player wins tournament
ABILENE — Fifteen-year-old Sarah Mason Thomas recently won the United States Tennis Association August 16’s Champs Major Zonal Tournament.

That elevates the Highland Lakes tennis player to Super Champ status for the third time. Previously, Thomas earned Super Champ status in both the 12 and 14 age divisions.
Other Horseshoe Bay players also attending the 16s Champs Tournament were Madison Dyer, Price Carpenter and Reagan Vaughn.
Allison Stallard and Michael Holder participated in the USTA ZATS tournament in August.
