Young runners compete at Wings of Eagles meet in Marble Falls
MARBLE FALLS — Teaching children how to compete starts at a young age. That was certainly the case June 2 at Pony Stadium where almost 50 young athletes participated in the first Wings of Eagles summer track meet of the season.
Coach Anthony Torns said he was pleased with the number of athletes but was hoping for more in the 5- to 12-year-old age group.
