MARBLE FALLS — Perserverance was on display for the Marble Falls High School track and field team on the first day of the District 25-4A meet April 11.

The Mustangs earned their best marks when they were needed the most.

In the end, Marble Falls took district championships with senior Priscilla Martinez’s flop of 5 feet 2 inches in the high jump, junior Rey Baltazar’s discus throw of 140-11 and junior Cody Schulz’s long jump of 21-0.5.
