LAKE TRAVIS — The Marble Falls High School track teams finished no worse than sixth in any division at the Lake Travis Relays Feb. 25.

Mustangs head coach Kyle Futrell was happy with the performances of each of the 1,600-meter relay teams highlighted by the boys varsity. Anchor Cody Schulz took the baton and made up 20 yards.

“We needed 21,” head coach Kyle Futrell said with a smile. “Austin Jones, Brian Shrubar and Aaron Hinojosa all turned in excellent splits. Cody brought up the anchor with a 50.20.”

The Mustangs finished second in 3 minutes 30.08 seconds, the fastest time they have run in the event this early in the season, Futrell said.
