Marble Falls at the Puncher Shootout
MASON — The tennis doubles team of Marble Falls High School freshman Madison Dyer and junior Kelsey McCasland came in second place at the Puncher Shootout recently.
RESULTS: Boys, singles — Mike Stripling won the consolation bracket after losing in the second round of the championship bracket. Doubles — Sam McCrocklin-Jason Rogers lost in second round of consolation bracket; Daniel Baxter-Joshua Guillen lost in second round of consolation bracket. Mixed-doubles — Shane Amos-Keagan Washington lost in second round of consolation bracket; Brandi Kuhlman-Taylor Tackitt. Girls, singles — Mattie Cryer lost in the first round of consolation bracket; AnneClaire McCannon won the consolation bracket. Doubles — Dyer-McCasland lost in championship 4-6, 6-4, 4-6; Lauren Parten-Kayci Pittard finished second in the consolation bracket.
