Realignment brings old and new foes, as well as travel concerns for Lady Flames
MARBLE FALLS — As the Faith Academy football team moves to 11-man football from the six-man ranks, the Lady Flames basketball team still will be a force to be reckoned with, despite realignment.
The Lady Flames will play in District 4-2A of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools. The district features old rivalries as well as new opponents.
Familiar foes include Austin Hill Country, Cedar Park Summit, Temple Holy Trinity and Waco Central Texas Christian, which dropped down from Class 3A. When Central Texas Christian was in the same district as Faith about seven years ago, it was the undisputed district champion.
