Mustangs lose games at tourney but gain experience
MARBLE FALLS — The Marble Falls High School boys basketball team finished its own McDonald’s Classic with a 77-47 loss to Killeen Dec. 3.
Though the Mustangs (2-10) went 1-4 in the event, head coach Bruce Etheridge said the players gained something that will serve them well the remainder of the season – the desire to compete.
"The games right now are designed to get us better in January," he said. "Of course, we’re disappointed in the losses. These games are going to pay off."
