Girls squads look to build on past success
MARBLE FALLS — Five state tournament appearances. Nine regional tournament berths. Numerous playoff appearances.
Those are the trophies the Burnet and Marble Falls high school and Faith Academy girls basketball programs have earned in the past several years. Needless to say, fans’ expectations might be high, but not higher than what coaches and players expect of themselves.
That’s the standard of success for the Lady Dawgs, Lady Mustangs and Lady Flames.

Class 4A regional quarterfinalists last season
MARBLE FALLS — When the 2010-2011 season tipped off, the Lady Mustangs featured some players who had never missed the playoffs combined with those making their varsity debut.
