Burnet Middle School cross country competes in Round Rock
ROUND ROCK — Burnet Middle School cross-country runners Shaylah Hullum and Wesley Shakelford each finished in the top 25 in the boys and girls divisions of the Round Rock McNeil Invitational on Oct. 1.
Shakelford finished in 12 minutes 51 seconds, while Hullum finished in 13:12.
The race was held at Old Settler’s Park, which is the site of the state cross-country meet.
FINISHES: Boys — Wesley Shakelford, 12:51; Cole Lastly, 13:00; Keedrick Hill, 14:27; Trevor Turner, 14:55. Girls — Shaylah Hullum, 13:12; Abby Bullock, 14:55; Mariela Torres, 16:28; Reagan Giesenschlag, 16:46; Alex Hahn, 16:59.
