MFalls cross-country teams compete well at Llano
LLANO — Two Marble Falls High School cross-country teams finished in the top three of the Llano Invitational Meet on Sept. 10.
The varsity boys were third overall, while the junior varsity girls placed first in their division.
The boys were led by senior Anjel Guererro, who was fifth overall in 17 minutes 2.93 seconds in the 3.1-mile course. The division drew 117 runners.
Senior Jordon Wright was eighth overall in 17:31, while senior Johnny Garcia came in 13th in 17:53.51.
The JV girls were led by freshman Tess Johnson, who was second overall in 13:47.46, while Sierra Guerra was fourth in 13:53.42 and sophomore Darby Hibbs was fifth in 14:12.71. The division had 102 runners for the two-mile event.
