Douglas Howell Hart, 53, of Granite Shoals dies Sept. 2, 2014
Douglas Howell Hart, 53, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away Sept. 2, 2014. He was the son of Orville and Syble Verdene (Bingham) Hart, born Nov. 7, 1960, in Burnet, Texas.
Douglas was a man of many jobs, but his longest was being a maintenance person. In his spare time, he enjoyed all types of sports, especially football, and also singing to karaoke.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Maria Hart of Granite Shoals; daughter, Cresyl Cawas of Granite Shoals; sons, Christian Hart of Granite Shoals and Douglas Hart Jr. of San Antonio; stepchildren, Adam Mitchell and Eve Hoxley, both of Killeen; grandson, Ryan Hart; brothers, Jeffery (Sandra) Hart, Michael Hart and Dayton Hart, all of Granite Shoals; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. Sept. 13 at Smithwick Cemetery in Smithwick with the Rev. Larry May officiating.
