Patsy June Sellers, 59, of Kingsland dies Sept. 6, 2014
Patsy June Sellers, 59, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away Sept. 6, 2014. She was born to Arvil Linzey and Clovis Faith (Bange) McCarley on Oct. 17, 1954, in Athens, Texas.
Patsy enjoyed bowling, square dancing, sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading. Her grandkids were a great source of pride and enjoyment.
Patsy was a school bus driver for many years with Burnet Consolidated Independent School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kingsland.
Patsy is survived by her brother, Terry Slakey and wife Michelle of Corsicana; sisters Brenda Owens and husband Mark of Crestview, Nancy Nix and husband David of Arlington and Rebecca Grubs and husband Eddie of Parker; stepdaughter Suzanne Weathersbee and husband Ronnie of Amarillo; stepson Alan Sellers of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Mary Anne and Betty Lou; stepdaughter Teresa Carroll Sellers; and stepson Michael Lynn Sellers.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Sept. 13 at First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4 in Burnet. The Rev. Greg Lewis will officiate.
