Homeschooled students from One Day Academy are holding a Gen Z Christian youth revival from 4-9 p.m. March 23 in the auditorium at Putters and Gutters, 4100 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls. Admission is free.

“We felt led to put on this revival because we see so much depression in our generation,” said Luke Quinn, one of the students organizing the event. “We felt led in our hearts to share the Gospel and share the truth of Jesus Christ and set them free from that.”

Many of ODA’s students are from the Marble Falls area, and Putters and Gutters is allowing the group to use the auditorium for free, Quinn said. The revival is open to the public.

The five-hour event will be split into one-hour segments for different functions, including prayer, message, and worship. Alan Williams, the owner of Chick-fil-A in Marble Falls, will give his testimony along with a number of young people.

Generation Z includes people born between 1997 and 2012 who are 12 to 27 years old, although age doesn’t matter if you want to attend the revival, Quinn said.

“Everyone is welcome to come,” he continued. “This is an event God gave to us to reach out to our generation. We want to have victory over despair and share the love of Jesus Christ.”
