Marble Falls High School Project Graduation is hosting a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, in the high school commons area, 2102 Mustang Drive.

“The Project Graduation board is super excited to offer this event for the first time,” said board President Tesha Tepper. “Hopefully, it’s something that will carry over (to future years).”

Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, and cold and hot drinks. Attendees are encouraged to bring cameras for photos with Santa.

Admission is $5 for ages 4-12 and $10 for ages 13 and older. Children ages 3 and younger are admitted for free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Reserve tickets in advance by emailing projectgraduationmfhs@gmail.com

Project Graduation groups exist across the country, providing graduating seniors access to a safe, supervised, and alcohol-free celebration following their commencement ceremonies. Marble Falls High School parent-volunteers organize several fundraisers and a celebration every year.

This year, the group hopes to raise $30,000 for the celebration, which is still in the planning stages.

“We’re about halfway (to our money goal) so far,” Tepper said. “All the money raised goes toward keeping our kids safe with the graduation celebration.”

Last year’s Project Graduation event was an overnight lock-in at the High5 entertainment venue in Lakeway.

Those interested in making a tax-deductible donation to the program can email projectgraduationmfhs@gmail.com or send a check to Project Graduation, P.O. Box 1061, Marble Falls, TX 78654.
