Myrtle M. Holland, 89, passed away July 10, 2021

Myrtle M. Holland passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021, in Marble Falls, Texas, at the age of 89. She was born on September 29, 1931, to Martin Hoy and Velma (Masters) Hoy in Cherokee, Texas.
Myrtle was a lifetime resident of Llano County and a member of Lone Grove Church of Christ. She was very active in the Oprys across the Hill Country.
She married Foley Holland on June 4, 1949, in Llano County.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Velma Hoy; husband, Foley Holland; brothers, J.L. Hoy and Elve Dukes; and son-in-law Kenneth Adams.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Adams; sister-in-law Maxine Hoy Kendrick; granddaughters, Sue Davis and Shayne Smith and husband Jim Bob; great-grandchildren, Steeley Smith and Sterling Smith; niece Kathy Baker; nephews Lynn Hoy, Billy Hoy, and Sammy Leverett; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano. A chapel service is at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Bluffton Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Lynn Hoy, Billy Hoy, Sammy Leverett, Dan Nixon, Lyndon Johanson, and Bob McCall.
