Longtime personal banker Glenda Taliaferro is retiring from Lone Star Capital Bank in Marble Falls, where she has worked for the past eight years, the bank recently announced in a news release. She has been in the banking industry for 19 years.

“LSCB has been a wonderful place to work,” said Taliaferro in the news release. “I will miss my work family and all of the customers I’ve been able to help throughout the years.”

Over her career, Taliaferro has been voted by the community as favorite bank teller in Marble Falls in The Picayune Magazine’s Locals Love Us and has been a staple at the bank with her friendly demeanor, professionalism, and knowledge.
“Glenda has been a great personal banker for us,” said Danny Buck, CEO of Lone Star Capital Bank, in the news release. “She’s the kind of person everyone is glad to see when they walk into our Marble Falls branch. She will be sorely missed by us and our customers, but we all wish her well in retirement with many fun adventures ahead of her.”

Taliaferro plans to spend retirement fishing and traveling with her husband.
