Marble Falls teen publishes novel
While many adults dream of penning a novel, a Marble Falls teen actually did it.
Aria Stubblefield, 16, of Marble Falls wrote “In Wildcat Hollow,” which was published by Pisteuo Publications the week of Nov. 30.
Aria wrote the historical children’s fiction book based on her great-grandmother Leonna Brenner Rozell’s life growing up near Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, in the 1930s.
The homeschooled teen developed her writing voice while taking a creative writing course at Reclaim Arts Academy at First Baptist Church of Marble Falls under the tutelage of author Julien Jamar.
Aria will hold a book signing on Saturday, Dec. 5, during Christmas Market on Main in Marble Falls, which runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
“In Wildcat Hollow,” according to Pisteuo Publications, “will make readers laugh, cry, and appreciate simpler, in some ways more difficult times. A must have for any elementary library or household with children.”
