Here are the scores from Highland Lakes high school football games on Sept. 25.

Marble Falls 28, Kyle Lehman 27

The Mustangs won the game in overtime to start the season at 1-0.

MARBLE FALLS HIGHLIGHTS

  • Junior running back Robert Adame had 12 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown and a 53-yard touchdown reception from junior quarterback Jake Becker in the fourth quarter. 
  • Junior running back Rafael Barajas had four carries for 63 yards, including the 23-yard touchdown run that tied the game to send it to overtime. 
  • Senior tight end Elijah Todd caught the game-winning 32-yard touchdown pass from Becker.

Burnet 42, Waco Robinson 21

Burnet is now 3-2 on the season, while Robinson falls to 2-3.

BURNET HIGHLIGHTS

  • Senior running back Marcus Escamilla had 23 carries for 150 yards and four touchdowns
  • Senior quarterback Jaxson Denton had 15 carries for 125 yards and two touchdowns. 

UP NEXT: Burnet has a bye week this week but returns to the field on Friday, Oct. 9, in a District 13-4A Division I game at Fredericksburg (4-1). Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at Battlin’ Billies Stadium, 1107 Texas 16 South in Fredericksburg.

Llano 34, Ballinger 0

Llano is now 5-0.

UP NEXT: Llano has a bye this week. The Yellow Jackets host Comfort on Friday, Oct. 9, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. at Llano Stadium, 400 Texas 71 East.

Faith Academy 74, Christian School of Castle Hills 8

The Flames open their season with a win.

The Sept. 25 game was canceled.
