Kingsland chamber celebrating community and businesses

FROM STAFF REPORTS

KINGSLAND — The Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce is throwing a “Kaleidoscope of Color” party for the community and businesses, and you’re invited.

The annual awards banquet is March 21 at the Kingsland Community Center, 3451 Rose Hill Drive.

The event starts at 6 p.m with a social hour followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.

Letha Causey of the chamber said this is the organization’s opportunity to celebrate the community’s groups, businesses and individuals.

Some of the awards the chamber will announce include citizen of the year, organization of the year, business of the year, chamber member of the year and the distinguished service award.

While tickets are available at the door, Causey asked people try to purchase them ahead of time at the chamber office so organizers have a good idea of the number of attendees for catering purposes.

The chamber office is located at 2743 RR 1431 in Kingsland. Call (325) 388-6211 for more information.
