John gave a lifetime of public service to Texans with blindness and was known and beloved by family and friends across the state and the nation.
John was a devoted parent and is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Nance; children, Santa Nance, Joshua Reynolds and Jason Reynolds; grandchildren, Christian Ramos and Karina and Desmond Mays; great-grandchildren, John Allen and Nathaniel Mays; and siblings, Robert Reynolds and Anna and Ron Corcoran.
Star strider, moon glider, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, friend, protector, kindest heart of tender love; how deeply we all long for you to laugh with us once again and hold us in your loving arms.
