Julia Beth Hitchcock, 85, of Austin, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 27, 2014. She was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Austin, the daughter of William R. Hendrix and Bertha Corbell.
Julia Beth worked for the Internal Revenue Service for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee, and daughter Marilyn McHenry. She is survived by daughter Linda Kelly of Burnet and son, John David Hitchcock of Austin. Julia had six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is 11 a.m. Jan. 31 at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
