Castro, of Panama City, Fla., is one of more than 200 American Legion Legacy Run riders who stopped at the Stripes convenience store in Marble Falls on Aug. 21. The riders are on a five-day journey that began in Indianapolis and ends Aug. 22 at the national convention in Houston. The ride raises money for the American Legacy Scholarship Fund for children of military personnel who have died on active duty since Sept. 11, 2001. Staff photo by Jared Fields
