KBEY 103.9 FM invites you to a Burnet open house, ribbon cutting
FROM STAFF REPORTS
BURNET — KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune is holding an open house and a ribbon cutting Aug. 23 at its Burnet studio.
The Burnet location is one of two the station will utilize including its Marble Falls site. When Victory Publishing, Inc. purchased KBEY earlier this year, company officials were committed to making it a truly community-based radio station.
The Burnet studio, 138 S. Main St., is another step in that commitment.
The ribbon cutting and open house start at 10 a.m.
KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune staff will be on hand. Ed Chandler and Kay Baker will be broadcasting the Wake Up Call on Aug. 23 at the Burnet studio for the grand opening. Baker also will hold her mid-day KBEY Kafe in Burnet later the same day.
The Burnet location gives KBEY added flexibility for programming and production.
But the Burnet studio won’t be manned all the time, so during the week, check www.kbeyfm.com or the KBEY Facebook page to find out when the Wake Up Call and other programs will be there.
Stop by Aug. 23 to see KBEY in action.
