OBITUARY: Peet Jerald Carl, 79, of Kingsland dies Aug. 7, 2013
Peet Jerald Carl, 79, of Kingsland went to be with the Lord on Aug. 7, 2013. He was born to Arthur James and Florence Maybell (Wisdom) Carl on Dec. 10, 1933, in Honeygrove, Texas.
Jerald was a minister in the Full Gospel Church, and over the past few years, he directed his attention to being an evangelist. He had worked as a cattle hauler and a tinkerer but, most of all, loved preaching.
He is survived by children, Rachael Schwartz of Arizona, De Adra Sharlene McDaniel of Florence, Texas, Ronny Dale Blair of Llano, Timothy James Carl of Rogers, Ark., and Arthur Jearl Carl of Kingsland; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister Marie Rose of Pasadena, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Carl; and sisters, LaDania Cupps and Thelma Mae Rosezo.
Visitation was Aug. 10 at Putnam Funeral Home and Crematory, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008. A graveside service was Aug. 11 at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Donahue officiating.
