New Valero store coming to Burnet

Crews are demolishing two strip malls in the northeast corner of the intersection of U.S. 281 and Texas 29 in Burnet to make room for a Valero convenience store, officials confirmed. During the past several years, the buildings have housed a detailing and car-repair shop, an insurance company and a gas station.
