New Lady Mustangs soccer coach looking for consistency from players

MARBLE FALLS —After a 0-12 record in District 51-4A last season, the Marble Falls High School girls soccer team has showed glimpses of what the squad could be, head coach Trey Young said.

Now he wants to see consistency in play, said Young, who is in his first year of being the head coach after spending four years on the boys soccer staff.

“It hasn’t been as big of a change as I thought,” he said. “One of the team goals is to win our tournament. It’s important to get off to a good start.”

The girls start the regular season with their own Winter Classic on Jan. 11-12 at Mustang Stadium, 2101 Mustang Drive.
