The Lady Flames raced to a 25-13 halftime lead that ballooned to 39-19 by the end of the third quarter.

"Then I made a coaching error," Faith head coach Jerry English said. "I played our young kids. We really can’t put them in together."

Waldorf outscored Faith 16-4 in the final period.

Still, English said he saw plenty of basketball from the Lady Flames, especially with their full-court press press and rebounding. Senior guard Bailey Brinkley and sophomore point guard Taylor Denton clamped down on Waldorf’s top guard, the coach said.
