Mustang boys 2nd, girls 3rd at Lampasas golf tourney

Marble Falls boys shoot 326 for 2nd, girls score 385 for 3rd at Lampasas Invitational
LAMPASAS — The Mustangs and Lady Mustangs shot their season bests during a tournament at Hancock Park on Oct. 10-11. In addition, several golfers shot their personal bests led by Nicklaus O’Connor’s fourth-place finish in the boys tournament and Tori Gomez, who won the girls tournament. The girls dropped their score from a team score of 421 to 385.

QUOTABLE: "This group is extremely hardworking, and it’s nice to see it pay off. I want to give assistant coach Wayne Neely credit for the big improvement on our tournaments," head coach Lonnie Tackitt said.
